América Unida grew out of conversations among Latine students and alumni affiliated with Harvard’s Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) Program. Together, they saw an opportunity to strengthen community among Latine students and faculty across HGSE while increasing the visibility of the community and its contributions.
We make this space
together.
What began as a conversation became a shared commitment: to create a space that brings people together across the diversity of Latin America and its diasporas, celebrates the richness of our experiences, and creates opportunities for connection, dialogue, and collective learning. América Unida is a student- and alumni-led initiative hosted by Comunidad HGSE and sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
