One community.
Many voices.

América Unida is a student- and alumni-led gathering at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) that brings together students, educators, and community leaders to explore what the diverse experiences of Latin America and its diasporas can teach us about building stronger, more inclusive communities.

Created in celebration of Latine Heritage Month, América Unida seeks to strengthen community among Latine students at HGSE while creating opportunities to learn from leaders whose experiences span education, public service, and community advocacy. Through conversation, storytelling, and connection, the gathering celebrates the richness of our many identities while exploring the values and experiences that can unite us across difference.
